Design Director Digital

Erik Ceder

I’m a Digital Design Director with over 20 years in digital experience design. I focus on strategic thinking combined with a deep passion for craft and attention to detail. I thrive on creating meaningful interactions that not only serve users but also align with business goals.

I started my career in digital agencies and startups, which gave me a solid foundation in fast-paced, versatile environments. Later, I worked on a range of projects that demanded deep insights and a strategic approach. Now at Lynxeye, I work with diverse clients to create impactful digital experiences. Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work with brands like Philips, Eli Lilly, American Express, Nordea, Atlas Copco, and Microport. I’ve helped these companies design user-centered experiences that are not only functional but also meaningful and engaging.

When do you love your work?

I love creating solutions that delight users. Every day, I see poor user experiences, and it’s satisfying to turn those around. Knowing I’ve made someone’s life a little easier or more enjoyable is what drives my passion for design.

Favourite purposeful brand?

I like the British hi-fi brand Naim whose dedication to both sound quality and minimalist, yet tactile design makes it truly stand out. They create products that are not only beautiful and timeless but also purposefully built to last and evolve, which aligns perfectly with sustainable design values.

Biggest business impact you have helped create?

One impactful project was designing an interface for programming implantable heart devices. It allowed healthcare providers to personalize therapies and leverage data effectively, making it a preferred choice for cardiologists. Seeing how it improved both patient care and brand position was very rewarding.
